Practice Macro ID; notebook/processing time

First Unit Test (on Salmon) will be Oct. 11th/12th!
First interactive notebook check is on the same day!

WARM UP: (this is a verbal warm-up, no need to record)
With your clock partner, answer these questions:
1. Why are macroinvertebrates an important part of our ecosystem in the Pacific Northwest?
2. What are the three types of macroinvertebrates that we focused on in the PowerPoint presentation? You can name either their Order or their scientific name.
3. What is one interesting fact you learned about macroinvertebrates?

Practice identifying macroinvertebrates with your shoulder partner using electronic devices; use this website (same as the handout): NW Nature Practice ID. One partner should have the photo of the unidentified macroinvertebrate and the other can pull up the PPT or use notes to use for classification.

Do left side, color processing on p.14 or under p.15 notes
